What makes Great Living Homes completely different to other 2 storey home builders in Perth is our unique construction method. We build the top level on the ground first and then we raise it up with our own special equipment and finish building underneath. We are the only builder in Australia using this method and the benefits of this method of construction include a safer, more accessible work site, no working from heights for the tradespeople, this method shaves weeks off the standard build time and because we don’t need to use scaffolding, cranes or other heavy equipment we can price our 2 storey house designs at a more affordable cost for our clients.
We proudly use a number of resilient materials to build our homes including cyclone strength steel framing for the upper floor and Cladtex cladding for the exterior which is a fire-resistant product and provides a better thermal rating than double-brick. We want the homes we build to last for lifetimes to come and this means encouraging the use of sustainable and resilient building products.
